It's that giant sucking sound that the crazy hand grenade with the bad haircut warned us about.

Well, if unemployment in the US gets high enough, 2/3rds of their customers aren’t going to be able to buy these cars. These companies may be saving money, but those savings aren’t not being passed on to us. Price of cars just keeps going up and income is going down.

“NAFTA has little to do with improving trade relations and everything to do with erasing national sovereignty in favor of an international political order run by unelected elites”

Listed in the NAFTA Preamble is the Goal “Support Sustainable Development. (Agenda 21).

Here is what it all about:http://clubfordegrowth.org/

Yep. When nobody can afford to buy ‘em, they just pile up at the loading dock.

Funny that the “crazy hand grenade with the bad haircut” had little to say about taxes, unions, and regulations. Guess he was too busy making money sucking the government teat.

I wonder how much in taxes Mexicans pay for their welfare programs? Just curious. My guess is very little, since their welfare system is the US govt.

I wonder what the quid pro quo was that he got for handing the Presidency to The Rapist... twice?

Why be mad at Mexico? All they are doing is looking after their own interests. And, the more jobs they develop down there, the fewer illegals come job-hunting up here.

Well, that may be true for the skilled workers.

But they send us the ones they don’t want!

No, they just keep coming here. Then they demand amnesty and vote themselves a huge pay raise.

Mexico is the only way the US automakers have around the UAW.

In 1993 the USA produced 10.8M vehicles.

In 2013 the USA produced 11.1M vehicles.

The prime culprit in lowering US auto employment is the UAW.

The reason US auto output has not collapsed is foreign manufactures setting up shop in the right to work South.

The future of auto work is $5k-$10K per year.

If a Mexican or a Chinese or an Indian can do the same work at $5k-$10k as an American making $70k then eventually that is where the factories will be built.

No Union, Economic Nationalist, Fascist ,Populist Mercantilist or anything else is going to stop it.

I make an internationally competitive wage. There is no reason I should be forced to pay an American an exorbitant wage to screw my car together.

Any nation can unilaterally remove all their own trade barriers but can’t force others to do the same.Unless you invade them and turn them into a colony. Everyone knows Free Trade Agreements lower trade barriers not eliminate them otherwise trade agreements would be one paragraph long. Lowering trade barriers is a good thing. Look at North Korea and Singapore for illustrative purposes.

The North American Union is foil hat nonsense.

I hear there is still slavery in parts of the world. Why don't we move auto factories where slave labor can be employed.

Why pay Mexicans $5K-$10K when slave can screw cars together for free?

And yet we pay the same price for them as the vehicles made in the U.S...
