Why is this kid in public school? Has it occurred to no one that the other kids might one day gang up and break this kid’s hands so that she no longer receives special treatment?

Couldn’t her parents call and say, “She is out today”. Unexcused absences are lazy anyway.

It doesn't always work that way. In some districts, even when the parent calls and sends a note - even a doctor's note - it is still counted toward the number of absences and must be explained or the child is declared truant or a grade will not be passed.

I've been through it twice, and although my honor roll student was never in danger of flunking out of a grade it was still a royal pain. What made it worse was it was the school nurse who was refusing to allow her to attend school because and epidemic lice breakout.

Big Jake: "Are ya gonna hang the kid, too, or just beat him up some more?"

Our government is Ken McElroy...

And that is the sacrifice required for tremendous talent.

Mozart and Chopin were white Europeans...

So, I'm guessing they weren't rappers. No wonder Michelle doesn't like them.

“...despite her parents begging and pleading for an exception.”

The parents are GETTING EXACTLY what they deserve, for enrolling her in a PUBLIC SCHOOL.

It just SICKENS me that some parents STILL do that.

How could you not like Mozart?

Even Mozart sounds like crap blasting at 135db from a Cadillac Escalade.
