Former congressman Allen West (R., Fla.) is making a statement on the right to bear arms on his right bare arm with a new tattoo. Aces High Tattoo Shop in West Palm Beach, Fla. showed off the former Republican’s ink on its Instagram account over the weekend.

I’m pretty sure no one has to worry about West getting anywhere near the Presidency.

The tattoo artist is wearing a t-shirt which reads, “Hail, Sagan”. geez. I guess it’s a drawing of Carl Sagan....OR, maybe it’s satan and just a typo on the t-shirt. “No Ragrats” :)

I think its next to the "Thou shall not get a haircut " commandment.

In other words - Its a non binding law that did not pass on to Christians today.

That said - Tattoos ALWAYS detract credibility from a person. But Col. West has no future aspirations, so let him have his fun.

I don’t like tattoos in general but they look much better on darker skinned people. On white people they look disgusting.

I respect him, his views, and for the good he has done (and continues to do).

However, I would have rather he not have done this.

It reminds me of when a really wholesome, good-looking girl I knew got a tattoo. All she could tell me to justify it was that “everyone was doing it” and that “it was a small one on just her ankle.”

Regardless, I knew that signaled she was flirting with being “not so wholesome.”

Tattoos were traditionally patterns, not logos or words.

I don’t like them anyway unless they are culturally appropriate like on Polynesians and Maoris.

But they look much better on darker skinned people than white people IMO
