On August 31, The New York Times ran a op-ed in which columnist Charles M. Blow contended that Republicans are trying to use the 9/11 attacks to make Americans fear ISIS and "yoke Obama with the ill effects of a war started by [George W. Bush]."
One immediate problem with this theory is that ISIS--now IS--is not an ill effect of the Iraqi War but of the power vacuum created by President Obama's precipitous withdrawal of all U.S. Troops in 2011.
But Obama knows this, which is why he blamed the troop pull-out on George W. Bush early last month.
The Washington Times reported that on August 9--just two days after authorizing airstrikes against IS--Obama "blamed his predecessor, George W. Bush, for the absence of American troops in Iraq and rejected the assertion that he could have left a small peacekeeping force in the war-torn country [to prevent the creation of the power vacuum that opened the door to IS]."
Charles M. Blow does not see this. Instead, he contends that the GOP is trying to shift blame to protect Bush and to force Obama into going to war with IS.
He draws examples from Fox News to bolster his assertion, such as Judge Jeanine Pirro saying Obama's lack of leadership toward IS should make Americans "afraid."(continued)

It is also Obama's fault because he supported the Arab Spring, which overthrew bad but rational leaders, and created another power vaccum all over the middles east and north Africa. Obama claimed to support the more secular groups, but in reality supported the Muslim Brotherhood. Bush had nothing to do with that.

I’ve wondered...we know Obama lies...does he do that on the golf course too?...does he score less that the actual number of strokes on his card?...does he ground his club in the rough and/or the sand traps?...does he improve his lie?!...can he improve his lie without a teleprompter?...or does he have one mounted on his golf cart?...as I said, how does he improve his lie???...is his pants on fire?

Actually I’ve wondered what would happen if Mecca were nuked. Hard to imagine the rest of the billion or so muzzies would just sit down and say oh well.
But who knows?
Mecca probably should have been nuked during the tenure of the first Muslim President, Jimmy Carter, after Iran decided that killing Americans was the new goal of Shia Islam.

A pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. If you knock that pillar down, the rest of the rotten edifice collapses, and Islam is proven false.
There would be massive deconversion from Islam, and mass slaughter of the religious leaders, shahs, ayatollahs, and monarchs who lied to the population at large. The remaining population may still harbor animosity towards America (or Putin or India, either of those could very well nuke Mecca), but it will be much more disorganized. Middle Eastern infrastructure would weaken or collapse, making the War on Terror easier.
I don’t play golf. Bammy does seem the type to cheat though. Why not? The rest of his personal and professional life is filled with lies.
Well, they seem to know that they are at war with us.
