what we learned in 2014 ObamaCare, a cancellation is insurespeak for so many changes to your plan means it is easier to re-write than to issue amendments.

But I also wonder is that is also insurespeak for how to raise rates via a loophole, in O-Care?

Kaiser Health News: Consumers may soon find a surprise in their mailbox: a notice that their health plan is being canceled. Insurers are required to give policyholders 90 days notice if they’re discontinuing their plans. That means consumers whose plans will be cancelled this December should be receiving notices now.

My mother has private health insurance via Kaiser. I'd better start getting ready for her phone call.
