You calculations are off. These events have been occurring for at least four and one-half decades to one degree or another. Nationwide!
You are right about the calculation. It seems to be a little bit conservative. But if the concept is right I am OK with that.
The other day I bought one of those new “safe” mouse trap thingies. The one that snaps a rubber band around the mouse’s head when he comes to steal some cheese from you. They can’t get it off and choke to death while presenting no harm to other humans or animals.
We need to set some LARGE traps like this for vermin like what this article is about. When they reach for their government GIFT it will snap around their necks and the only expense will be planting them in the ground.
I prefer the sticky mouse traps. The mice can’t unstick themselves and slowly and presumably painfully, die.
GREAT IDEA! Need the implementation.
