Ukraine will de facto become a territory with a predominantly Russian population.” (Letter from the Italian consul in Kharkiv, Ukraine; Sergio Gradenigo to his Ambassador in Moscow, 1933.)

The Russians are now engaged in a genocidal ethnic cleansing of the Ukraine in 2014 in furtherance of the 1933 prediction of Russian intentions.

Just as I suspected. I wrote here after putin invaded Georgia he will start dumping passports in Gdansk and Estonia to “protect” Russians.

You hear ‘things’ when you live in this part of the world.

Yes, Putin and his Russians have been busy handing out Russian passports in Kazakhstan and the other ‘stans. No doubt when those neighbors feel sufficiently threatened to seek allies to defend themselves, Russia will pretend to be alarmed about how unfair it is for the West to gang up on Russia along the borders where it threatens its neighbors with invasion and conquest.

Torez used to be called Chistyakovo, but during the Soviet era, it was renamed for Maurice Thorez, a French Communist leader. Interestingly, the old name hasn’t been restored as have so many others.

If people want to identify with Russia , and perhaps move to Russia if the situation arises, why not?

“If people want to identify with Russia , and perhaps move to Russia if the situation arises, why not?”

Because the methods being used by Russia are hostile armed force, genocidal in nature, and constitute major war crimes punishable by life imprisonment and death.

How is it 'genocidal in nature" to give someone a passport?

Civilization has a real problem with ISIS. It would be much better for the future of mankind if Obama's unfriending of Putin weren't creating an unnecessary war when Russia's resources could better be used in that battle. Do you really think the EU or NATO is going to help Ukraine unless it's to help themselves?

This is what they teach in the West Point equivalent of Russia.

Conquer Europe. Use special forces to turn USA into an useless mess.

Some are cheering this plan as the USA has a weak president so in this twisted world everything hurting USA within the next 2 years is good.
