Supposedly he “read” the briefings himself rather than be briefed by some colonel or general. Now, he could have just read them or he could have read them and then asked for follow-up material but I’m guessing that he didn’t read any of it. Too difficult for him to grasp, evidently. He also might have been funneling the briefings to his friends in ISIS.
