I have a dream.....
That someday all fast food will be served by robots...
Civil disobedience = thuggery
The mafia does that. They go into a store and demand money and if the owner doesn’t pay up they mess up the store.
Once upon a time the fast food industry employed high school students. Then the corporations decided to seek more permanent employees. Thus the importation of people less than legal and said good-bye to the former method of employing high school students. Fast Food has begun to reap what they themselves have sown.
I’m thinking that these unhappy employees are likely to sabotage the food, a la Jesse Jackson. Guess I’ll eat at Chick-fil-a for a while.
That’s OK, Chick-fil-A will probably see another major boost in sales. They already do several times more sales per store than any Wendy’s.
Maybe they could just work slowly and ignore customers....oh wait....
I tend to avoid places where I have had unpleasant experiences.
Wonder if this is part of plan.
P.S.
Just FYI...
A Chick-fil-A restaurant does about $3 million in sales per year, and a McDonald’s restaurant does about $2.6 million per year.
This is all planned agitation, so the Dems can run on the minimum wage issue.
Any idiot who thinks burger flipping is a middle class career job must have gotten a pubic education.
Oh wait, never mind.
Sounds like the union thugs are trying to FORCE unwilling fast food workers to join their labor mobs. Unionizing a workplace is quite easy (too easy in fact) if even the smallest majority of employees are in favor of it.
these incidents would be one of the very few reasons i would go to these fast food places. though i do wonder how much you can trust the unhappy workers in the store.
My prediction is that automated order boards will win out.
I am NOT a fan of the shakedown tactics being used on fast food right now. However, we really don’t need fast food. It’s a fact of our spoiled lives that we want it. I’m surprised Queen Michelle hasn’t shut down the fast food industry outright.
Yet another reason for me to not patronize fast food eateries.
Fast food doesn’t pay well, but how many of their workers want to give up a third of their pay to fat union bosses and their fat union thugs - and take home even less? I feel sorry for the workers if the unions win this fight against the decent people who own the restaurants and the decent people who work there.
