~How much time?~
Plundering the Judengasse (= Jewish Street) in Frankfurt am Main on 22 August 1614. Russian "pogroms" are quite a novel thing. Meanwhile the Tsarist government did everything in its power to pit the local peasants against the Jews, and would periodically foment pogroms and send in the Tsarist Imperial Cossacks as the enforcers. It was the Tsarist GOVERNMENT that wrote the Protocols of Zion.
