(CNN) – Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas is heading back to New Hampshire next weekend. It will be the third visit this year by the freshman Republican senator and potential 2016 presidential contender to the state that holds the first primary in the race for the White House.

According to a source close to the senator, Cruz will speak at the Hillsborough County Republican Committee Primary Dinner on September 6. Another potential 2016 contender, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, will also give remarks at the dinner.

"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

If we have been denied Palin, I would settle for Cruz in a heartbeat.

Ted Cruz has my vote, if for no other reason than HE LOVES AMERICA and isn’t afraid to say so. Ever heard our Dear Leader express his love for America?

Rush, Hannity, Beck and Levin need to get behind Ted NOW. They are the only force strong enough to stop the RINO candidate. We can’t afford to split the conservative vote again.

I don’t understand all these Presidential Wannabees. They all seem to have unlimited funding to go around the country and beat their drums. Here we have Cruz, who by the way is from the same State as Perry and then we have the son of Texan Ron Paul (Rand). While they run around spending other peoples money and trying to appeal to their limited audiences, the Democrats continue to pile up the cash for Hillary. I don’t see any of the so-called emerging candidates (especially from the U.S. Senate)going anywhere. We need to look at the Republican Governors who have some experience managing managing economies and competing political parties. We already have been shown that Senators are poor managers because for the most part they don’t have any experience managing anything except their Law Practices.

Forget about the talking heads, the conservative voters need to get behind Cruz and forget ron paul's offspring, crispy creme, jebby, the faux conservative senator from Florida, bobby jindahl, Scott Walker and Mitt's boy ryan, and Mitt.

You probably should change your screen name to "Grumpy Old Guy".

I'm left almost speechless by your lack of political acumen and your dislike for Ted Cruz on a conservative website.

Cruz is my first choice. But...

I will be surprised if he runs this time.

I would almost rather he be on the SCOTUS.

Wherever he goes, he won't need a teleprompter!

If he enters the presidential debates, he will make the others look soooo bad...regardless of who they are.

The next day, Cruz will hold events in the southern part of the state.

That IS the southern, well, south - central part of New Hampshire.

Wish the CNN clowns would get a map.

Those of us who live in northern NH consider everything "south of the notches", "southern New Hampshire".

From the notches to Concord would be "central NH", everything south of that, "southern".

For some strange reason, many folks consider Concord and the Lakes Region to be "northern NH", and don't even know anything exists north of there.

Many of these dopes don't even know there is a huge country north of us, that being "Canada".
