Cruz is using FR for his talking points

It does seem that way. Regular FR posters recognized ISIS for what it is while they were still marching through the desert in a column and starting their genocide thing in Mosul.

I hope Ted Cruz keeps to this issue. Earlier, he seemed to be taking sides in Ukraine and Syria. That could come back to slap him in the face as events unfold. I agree that he should've highlighted the case of the US soldier in a Mexican jail.

Summary....Cruz is developing a better, more independent voice on foreign affairs. It's a good thing he's a quick study. Up to now he didn't seem to have an independent vision about the US role in the world.

Cruz made it clear where he stands on Russia and Ukraine, he slapped Putin good.
