Years ago when matchbooks were passed out for free some of them had ads to get a college degree or study a technical subject by mail.

Inside the matchbooks was a coupon to fill out and mail in to learn more.

In fine print on the coupon was this admonition:

"Do Not Mail Matches"

Hah...I remember the free matches and the advertisements but must have forgotten about the “do not mail matches.”
