We must be aware of all things important to our way of government. We must elect conservatives to Congress; if we do not our grandchildren may not grow up with the freedoms as we have. We must clean out the people in our government that do not believe in our ways of freedom. Loss of freedom is only one election away........
If our freedom depends on the outcome of an election, the republic is gone and elections serve to condone rule by tyrants.
So yes, it is gone. The American republic can only be restored through an Article V state convention to propose amendments to our governing system.
