Polish president warns Germany of Putin's 'empire' ambitions

(Reuters) - Polish President Bronis law Komorowski said that Vladimir Putin is trying to build a new Russian empire for Moscow and that the region now had to choose whether it wanted "a Cossack Europe or a democratic one".

Well, don’t forget that many FreeRepublic Putinistas think that Putin building an empire is the only Christian thing to do, don’t you know? Plus since he’s strong and they’re weak, they deserve to be flattened. It’s what a strong and really great leader does. Study history, they’ll tell you. Treating others with Christ’s guidance and helping the weak is passé. The weak must give way to the strong in the world of Putin and his Putinistas.
