The Kremlin regime continues to misinform the Western audience trying to convince that that Ukrainian war is its internal issue.

How successful it will be? It depends when the Western media will decide to finally report the bigger picture of this war.

There is an interesting information in the article that the Russian army might have manipulated at least some of the soldiers into the war.

The problem is that the some FReeRepublic people are swallowing Putin’s propaganda wrapped in libertarian paper on Russia Today. This is the main source of the nonsense including with the “predictions” of the clowns parading as forecasters, economists or other “experts”. One should throw the RT where its place is in the garbage.

Irresponsible and almost foolish statements by Ron Paul did not help either.

But libertarianism, with small exceptions, historically went along with Moscow Bolshevism. At first when anti-communist tried to destroy the Iron Curtain, for instance CATO expert were convincing that USA can have good relations with Soviet Union because… the trade, of course. The other example would be their attitude towards the expansion of NATO, which they tried to block as hard as they could with their idiotic rhetoric. Recent case, the missile defense which some of the libertarians critized stronger than Putin himself. And of course the defense of the tyrants such as Milosevic… The list of their terrible mistakes is very long… Putin propaganda uses them like map to change libertarians into wind mills spinning whenever he would blow.

I think some of libertarians seems to be worse idiots because they think they are wise while some Communists at least knew that they are fools…

Russia mistreating the veterans of their past wars was the reason it was so easy for them to get a sizable and deniable mercenary force to fight against Ukraine in the first place.

Forgotten veterans struggling with their $100 a week salaries were suddenly approached and offered ten times more in what they were told was going to be a patriotic cakewalk.

I agree with much of what you wrote. I also note that the Putinistas must have considerable cognitive dissonance. First of all, they claim to be against Obama. Yet no one empowers Putin and America’s enemies more than Obama. Hence, obviously if you’re in favor of the restoration of the Tsarist/Soviet/Putin empire, then Obama’s your man in the right place at the right time. Second, most of these people do attempt to display a tone of unabashedly superior cognitive capabilities. Yet none of them seem to notice that there is: a) very little liberty in Russia, b) that Putin is a statist, c) that Putin’s bullying will lead to more and bigger statism throughout the world, not less, and finally that their “see no evil” approach to Putin is risible now that they’re the only ones in denial still about what Putin is up to. He should be for them like the authors of the book THE GOD THAT FAILED. In it, former communist denounced communism. Putinistas should consider Putin an idea or ideal that failed. But they don’t yet.

Absolutely.

Obama policies’ play into to the Russia strategy. (I have to say that today’s critic of Russia by Ambassador Power was very reasonable).

I am trying to avoid paint Putin as statist. As Lenin’s biographer, Ossendovsky, said that Lenin spat on Russian state, I would put this regime into the category of such “leaders”. One of the evidence for this is incredible level of corruption in Kremlin which, opposition revealed a little bit (”Putin’s palace, Sochi village etc). So he is pretending that he cares for a state.

Communism is a foundation for Putinism, which is a concealed leninism. The Putinism is an idea of a incredibly rich gang of former KGB operatives, Soviet nomenklatura and their families to defeat morally (at least that it would appear like that), economically and militarily the United States. Putinism main enemy, as the USSR, is the United States.

KGB has always controlled the crowd believing in reptile-chemtrail conspiracy. Lately they have also gotten on side of the Ron Paul crowd.

Have a look of someone tracing the steps of Ron Paul institute director Daniel McAdams.
