I installed a set of brackets similar to these on the kitchen cabinet door under the sink.

They hold a T-Shirt plastic bag from the supermarket to use for trash.

Found them at Home Depot.

They save money, keep the trash out of sight and put the used bags to good use.

We haven't bought a kitchen size garbage bag in 20 years.
