A recording of Kentucky U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell talking strategy and policy with a group of wealthy conservatives has Democrats claiming the remarks prove the senator is only looking out for millionaires and billionaires and not the needs of Kentucky families.
In an article from http://www.thenation.com/article/181363/caught-tape-what-mitch-mcconnell-complained-about-roomful-billionaires-exclusive## , a recording of McConnell speaking at a conservative strategy conference hosted by the Koch Brothers on June 15 about issues like the minimum wage, unemployment insurance and other topics.
According to the recording, McConnell tells the group about what he believes his chamber is doing wrong and how he would like to see policies of the Obama administration stopped. McConnell expressed similar ideas in an interview with Politico about how he would run the Senate if Republicans take control of the chamber in November.
Were not going to be debating all these gosh darn proposals. All we do in the Senate is vote on things like raising the minimum wage (inaudible)cost the country 500,000 new jobs, extending unemployment, McConnell said at the meeting. The student loan package the other day, thats just going to make things worse. These people believe in all the wrong things.

His is not a leader nor able to deliver a credible alternative message to Rustler Reid, much less take on Rustler Reid through Strategery or Tactics.
Progs—your plan to paint this candidate as a Rich mans tool—will not work. The people followed that in 2012—and we got an even more inept Obama rather than an experienced Mitt Romney. Go peddle for Class Hate Talk to the American Communist Party meeting—they are the only ones who will believe you now—Progressive/Lennist
McConnell, Romney, Rove and Boehner may have
doomed America. They are liberals, enablers,
and liars all.

Romney: Its Ryans turn to run for president

A young candidate could beat Hillary Clinton, Romney says
EXCERPT
Quelling continued rumors of a third presidential run himself, Romney told conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt that someone new that is not defined yet, someone who perhaps is from the next generation, will be able to catch fire, potentially, build a movement and be able to beat Hillary Clinton.
He later repeated the call for a new and not defined candidate, adding that there are a number of very good people looking at this race.
Clinton is 66 years old, Romney is 67.
Romney has discussed his support in the past for a 2016 bid by his former running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), something Ryan has not yet ruled out.
In the pairs first joint interview since their failed White House bid, Romney said last week on Fox News that it was time for his former running mate to run for president.
Hes very generous. But I had my turn. Its his turn now, Romney said.
On Tuesday, Romney went further.
I think Paul has the kinds of qualities youd like to see either in a president or in the highest levels of leadership in other parts of Washington, namely the House, Romney said.
The problem is McConnell is the typical DC insider. He talks tough during the campaign and then does nothing once he's elected. The excuse is always "we just didn't have the votes", or "the POTUS would have vetoed it anyway".
The country elected a hard leftist over a rich investment banker. A majority of this country believes successful business people are the bad guys. Until that changes and we elect real conservatives it's only going to get worse.
But, noooooooooo....

So what did Grimes do...http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/in-the-loop/wp/2014/06/19/alison-lundergan-grimes-hangs-with-hollywood/
We can do without Mitch.
Ditch Mitch. He hates conservatives more than Democrats.
True. He’s outsmarted by that idiot Harry Reid which makes him to dumb to remain in the senate..
Take out all the BS and here is what is left.
According to the recording, McConnell tells the group about what he believes his chamber is doing wrong and how he would like to see policies of the Obama administration stopped. AND THAT has Democrats claiming the remarks prove the senator is only looking out for millionaires and billionaires and not the needs of Kentucky families.
“The excuse is always “we just didn’t have the votes”, or “the POTUS would have vetoed it anyway”.
Or it’s “Not the right time”.
Bfl
That ain't propaganda. That's in the senate voting record.
The cloture votes, not votes on legislation, tell you which team a senator supports.
McConnell does the bidding of Harry Reid, instead of fighting tooth and nail.

On McConnell being outsmarted—
You are being generous. I think it has something to do with being corrupt.
