We really don't need to side with Assad. We just need to tell him to stay out of the way.
ISIS needs to be removed from the playing field, permanently. Iraq is a disaster, but an ISIS controlled Iraq is worse.
Nothing wrong with a temporary agreement to stay out of each other’s way.
My biggest concern here is Obama. I worry they he will use it as an opening to start a war against Assad and hand the country to ISIS.
