A lawyer in the IRS ethics office is facing the possibility of being disbarred, according to records that accuse her of lying to a court-appointed board and hiding what she’d done with money from a settlement that was supposed to go to two medical providers who had treated her client.

The disciplinary arm of the D.C. Court of Appeals has recommended that Takisha McGee, a section manager in the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility, lose her law license over the charge, which stems from a personal injury case she worked about a year before she joined the tax agency.

Then she compounded that by going to work for the IRS. Which steals millions of client’s monies.

Takisha, another amish person huh?

I've learned a lot this year: first, it was about "White Hispanics" during the Zimmerman case, now it's "Black Amish."

Can anyone think of a better place to go to for employment if you've been stealing settlement money from your clients?

One might wonder why the Obama's have lost their law licenses?

I'll bet she will not lose her job over it though. Who knows? Maybe she'll run for office?

I would love to see the Bar Exam for DC.........

Really though, passing the state (or DC) Bar Eaxams is hard. Monica Lewinski graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School. It does not mean she became a lawyer by passing the state of Oregon Bar Exam.

How do many of these people pass the bar exams? I'm not talking racial or politics leaning, I'm just saying that without some sort of coaching or leg up, it's hard for people stupid enough to steal settlement funds from their clients and think they can't get caught to pass a Bar Exam?
