One can imagine the thought that comes to mind.

Why are we allies? Force of habit? Sense of inferiority?

While I was reminded last night on another thread who won the war of 1812 is a subject of debate, we still won the war that mattered. A victory we celebrate every July 4th.
I was not offended. It made me laugh.
I’m over it. Let the Brits have their sparklers.

Maybe during our July 4th celebrations we should tar and feather members of the British Royal Family.

Obama burned any bridges we had with the UK.
Frankly I have no problem with them celebrating this event in their embassy. I would hope they have no problem with us celebrating the Fourth of July at our embassy.

British diplomats in the US have been forced to apologise after revealing they were hosting a party to celebrate the anniversary of the burning of the White House. Why? Bet a lot of people are thinking that the last few years.

Well Obama inspires this lack of respect.
Also since Obama acts as if the Constitution is a bothersome document getting in his way then what’s the problem with the brits honoring Ross...I bet Obama wishes they were successful!

They were our Allies and Obama has spit on them repeatedly.

Knowing what Obama thinks of the Brits, I am quite sure the British would like to burn the White House again - with its present occupants in it.

That’s okay. A few days later we killed Gen. Ross at North Point Nd stopped them cold in Baltimore. Bottom line: We kicked their asses twice and saved their asses twice in major conflicts.

We should hold a party commemorating the Battle of New Orleans where British suffered the most lopsided of all defeats, ironically after the war was officially over.

I wonder if Obama sent them a harshly worded letter demanding his iPod back?
To: CorporateStepsister
They may have been the first and only but they won’t be the last. Besides, I am sure it is all in god fun. Losers of that war need to have something to perk themselves up. (hehe)
