I have never seen people working at a car wash. I honestly thought all car washes were automated or do it yourself.
The AFl-CIO hasn’t has much luck organizing automated car washes.

Couple of very, very busy ones in Houston. $30 for basic, $40 for one with extras. Have a side bay that does oil change also which includes a coupon for a basic wash. About half of the employees are Hispanic and the rest are Blacks. They do a really good job.
Joke about people who use this kind of a car wash and also have their lawn mowed - they are the ones that also have gym memberships!
They have Guats working the last carwash I was at in NJ. They do a good job.
