Hollande's promises to cut taxes and make it easier for businesses to open and operate have stalled, in large part because of the divisions among his Socialist party.

Typical, because Socialists operate under the assumption that giving away the income from productive members of society to the unproductive members is the way to maintain power. The path of history is strewn with wreckage of countries that tried taking shortcuts by "buying" power. Not one has persisted. Alas, the US leadership is stupid enough to follow the same self-destructive path.

Go figure. Every single European example is a bust.

However, Liberals are still struggling to cram for the ‘global test’ that will sink us for good and all once we BECOME an abject and irreversible failure just like the European examples which abound!!

Sheer idiocy!

“...unemployment is hovering around 10 percent...”

If that is the REAL rate they are in one heck of a lot better shape than we are! I wonder if they use the same kind of fake, crap figures as this country. Under the present system if everyone stopped working and no one looked for a job we would officially have a zero percent unemployment rate.
