There was absolutely no reason to overthrow the Libyan government. And it wouldn’t have happened without obama.
This is true, and although you or I would not want to live under a military govt like that in Libya, for the people there, it was very much the best option.
Also, Gaddafi had agreed in 2004 to voluntarily disarm Libya of all WMDs, and allowed UN inspections of military sites. What a massive mistake that was, from his point of view. It allowed the NATO attacks to proceed without risk.

Considering democrat attitude towards domestic middle class do you believe they would tolerate it elsewhere?
Of course, business is coming along pleasure. Practical goals behind dismantling Libya was to show jihadis that secular dictators aren’t as scary as they used to think so they can topple them and bring chaos into their respective neighborhoods too. Another goal was to have Qduffy’s arsenal opened to upgun global jihad with advanced weaponry and keep hands clean at the time (unfortunately clean hands part has failed with Ben Ghazy ‘mishap’ and Hillary was purged for this)
