I think it depends on the business.

Big agriculture would certainly like it. They can pay low wages, and let the government pick up the differential necessary for survival in benefits. It’s good for hotels needing chambermaids.

But, other businesses... I’m not so sure. The ones that need skilled help don’t really benefit all that much from having illegals with low likelihood of sticking around.
