SEATTLE - Popular online retailer Zulily is planning to add about 900 jobs in central Ohio as part of new tax credit deal from the state.

The Seattle-based company says most of the positions at the new call center will be in customer service. The move is expected to generate $28 million by 2017. This comes in addition to Zulily’s existing facility in Obetz.

As part of a tax agreement, the Ohio Development Services Agency says the company will receive a 75%, 12-year tax credit in exchange for operating in Ohio for at least 15 years.

Zulily is an online store offering daily sales events on apparel, gear and other products for moms, babies and kids.

I bought something once from Zulily and will never do it again. The merchandise was inferior, it took over a month to get it, and they have a no refund policy.

Wow, as much as I hate supporting the 800lbs gorilla in the room Amazon has never ‘yet’ let me down.

I just went to check out their website and you cannot look at anything until you register with them.

So, I did not look at anything and they will not get my business because they think like the Obamacare website.

and they have a no refund policy.”

Looked at some of their ads and was tempted to buy something I really did need but decided not to because of the no-refund policy, as well as the long shipping time. Can’t see how they will continue to be successful.

Same here. Thought I'd look at what they had available some time ago. There is no reason they need my email address to look at their stuff. So I don't look at their stuff.
