In Cecil B. DeMilles Film—”The Crusades” the Moslems capture one of the leaders of the crusade—a pious monk. When the Christian under King Richard Lionheart go to attack—the Moslems show the monk—threatening to kill him if they attack.
King Richard asks the monk what they should do. His answer: “In this sign ye shall conquor!” The Moslems shoot arrows into the Monk, the Crusaders attack and win the day after a bloody battle. Something never change. We must we willing to lose a few people to win the day.
Which will not happen.
