The Russian military has moved artillery units manned by Russian personnel inside Ukrainian territory in recent days and is using them to fire at Ukrainian forces, NATO officials said on Friday.
The West has long accused Russia of supporting the separatist forces in eastern Ukraine, but this is the first time it has said it had evidence of the direct involvement of the Russian military.

So NATO is sitting back sucking an ice cube waiting for the shooting to start.
In other words, Russia has invaded the Ukraine and our own leadership has gutted our military to the point that we can’t do a thing about it.
Unescorted artillery should make a target rich environment. Of course, the SAMS were moved in first.
Putin doesn’t have to stage a full scale invasion...he is just nibbling away around the edges...and the west will wake up one morning and he has Ukraine.

Exactly. Putin see’s our weakness and lack of resolve as a tremendous opportunity to advance his own interests while our leadership is sleepwalking.
Putin doesn’t care one way or the other. He will do what he wants to do, to hell with the consequences (because he knows the consequences are minor). Doesn’t matter who is sitting in the Oval Office.

Pretty much true; but a Reagan as President would likely slow things down a bit. But Pootie Poot is determined to bring back the Soviet Union it appears.
And that’s the problem. We don’t have a Reagan on the horizon.
