“I’m just hoping that a sufficient number of Americans come out of their collective coma before the fat lady has a chance to warble “Nearer My God to Thee” at this nation’s funeral.”

As long as we have voters who DEMAND absolute “purity” of the credentials of a Republican nominee, there is reason to fear.

It is precisely because of these purists we have the America destroying butt wipe in the WH. Plenty of them reside right here on the FR forums.

I wonder how proud they still feel about their precious commitment to perfect conservatism at all costs?

No Conservative has EVER demanded a “Perfect” candidate. All we want is someone who won't screw over their conservative base. We want someone who will work for us rather than performing fellatio on their “friends across the aisle." Are we asking for too much?

Some of us refuse to be mindless GOP-bots who would vote for Al Gore if he put an "R" next to his name.

Incidentally, if the GOP really wants our vote they ought to stop calling us "racists." How stupid do you have to be to commit election fraud in your own party's primary and expect continued support from those you disenfranchise?
