In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled German-led European consortium comes up with a cheaper proposal for its Eurofighter Typhoon (India), Slambat wrote:

Looks like it could have been written as a rai-dio script bu—t you-’re ri-gh-t it is ver-y ir-i-tate-ing.

Having done lots of conversions taking print from one medium to another I’d guess the original was hyphenated to fit what was then the page. When it was copied and pasted the hyphens came with it but are no longer relevant to the new page width. (Or, the author has a speech impediment.)
