Looks like if Brown beat up Wilson, Wilson could shoot him as he fled under Missouri law.

So it wouldn’t matter if Brown had been shot in the back.

Missouri’s fleeing felon rule would seem to clear Wilson as long as Wilson is injured.

Looks like the SC restricted that.

“But in 1985, the Supreme Court declared in Tennessee v. Garner that police cannot use deadly force to stop a fleeing felon who is not perceived to be dangerous.”
