Many options exist in response to the murderous thugs:
Unleash the military to attack ISIS;
Negotiate and hand over even more Guantanamo prisoners in exchange for the two reporters held captive;
Go back to Washington and assemble Congressional leaders and national security leaders to formulate a response;
Simply state the murderous bastards need to be quartered and buried with hog offal.

We should be doing that anyway, regardless of the Foley's beheading. However, the reality is that many democrats, republicans, and Americans do not want troops on the ground in Iraq/Syria. Imagine the outrage here on FR if even one soldier were to die while trying to save a couple of reporters who voluntarily put themselves in harms way.
