Here's something quite important on those bombings that helped start those wars. The FSB was caught planting explosives. In response, the Russkies denied it, claimed they were planting bags of sugar as a "test" without, apparently, telling any of the local authorities, burglarized newspapers, sealed information, and to this day refuse to launch a proper investigation.

Americans especially need to remember that Putin has hijacked democracy and made Russia all about himself and his cronies. I understand those who fear Obama will do the same. If he does, he can follow Putin’s example because Putin has already done it. And Putin’s picked us to be a constant target of his propaganda and geo-political threats.
