Despite the endemic outbreak in West Africa commercial air service to the region continues. Since the West will suffer only an occasional case or a limited endemic outbreak, the powers that be have decided it would be very politically incorrect to suspend air services. Hope they are correct.

The caluculated decision might be that since Ebola has left Africa, there's no point in trying to stop it. I've become a conspiracy theory type thinker, so I'm assuming that the elite have a private vaccine stash for themselves.

What the ptb could stop is invaders from Africa getting into Europe and to islands in the Med or off the coast of Africa. They're already ruining the continent, and that's without spreading Ebola.
