Common core math is language bound. Precision is not important/rationalizing process answers is emphasized.
yes that's exactly it. What they are calling Math isn't really math and it completely explains why on the SAT men score higher. The SAT still tests Math skill (the ability to calculate and deal with abstractions). But wait, they will change the SAT so it aligns with the non-math common core and you will see women do even better.
Our schools have become prison day camps that teach nothing useful. It's just a place to park your kids for 8 hours so you can get some stuff done. If you are expecting more than that you are delusional.
