Why not just check those that survive today? Easier to find/get to.
But the claims are that this strain has up to a 90% chance of death, but every stat I see (infected/dead) from all the countries is around 50-60%. I would trust that number (actual deaths to infection) more than some doctor-theoretical "90%".
