No $15 per hour wages, no peace.HA!

They locked themselves in the walk-in cooler and called the police.

McDonald's was sacrificed to political correctness. Someone decided appointing a black police chief and ignoring violence on businesses would be an effective strategy.

I think they thought it would be 'effective' in the sense it would reduce contact between police and protesters/looters.

So now the National Guard has to be called out.

When you say locals, do you mean the police or the populace? Both?

Local cops.

State went in there so proud of themselves, they must have thought they had supreme authority, they had no reason to think they had it from the rioters, other than that they assumed this was all racist, which it is not.

They went in and that spokesman, Johnson, said we’re here now, so everything is fine.

It was outrageous.

And the governor is a big nothing. The Lt Gov was on this am screeching about what an idiot the gov is, without coming out and saying it.

The local cops are completely undermined now, but so is the gov, the State Troopers, and the Guard, who knows? The gov and Obama and Holder are in on that, I guess.

They could send the Guard in to Texas instead of completely undermining Perry, and really do some work for the country. Holder and BO are bigger racists than Al Sharpton.

Really, it’s BO’s incompetence and that of his whole team, just ruining everything possible.

BO is either trying to ruin it or he doesn’t know what he’s dealing with, not being an American, not knowing our culture, and the same for his handlers.

but what this is, and they hinted at it finally this am is the despair of high unemployment we’ve all been talking about THis is where the gov freebies not being enough is going to rear its head.

Sharpton is not welcome, this guy Johnson is not powerful and they are all amazed at the lack of power of race baiting is left after al of this.

Any one with reason knows it’s over after two terms of bo. they cannot cry slavery and racism anymore.

Anyway, they dissed the local cops. Now they’ll have a tremendous struggle gaining that control back. And State Troopers can just forget about a working relationship with these guys.

Stanne, it’s why I thought it was a big mistake for people here to trash the local police. A show of force was required after all. And now, why it’s out of control for anyone who participates. The local cops should have been supported.

I know there were issues about “militarization” and somewhat valid, but to try to hash that out in the middle of civil unrest, huge mistake IMO. And know we know why.

Those rioters/protesters were empowered to misbehave. Folks here were as guilty of it as the Left was. Damn shame...
