A good detective would order them checked for prints, UPC’s scanned and arrest the owner of the prints for looting them the night before.
Of course, somebody on the force would have to actually think for that to happen.
I’ll take that bet. They’ll still be there, original contents replaced by stuff that Brig. Gen. Jack D. Ripper might know about (”...precious bodily fluids...).
The Mad Dog bottle looks like it was refilled with orange juice. The liquor bottles look empty. Ditto for the cough syrup.
