She's too young to know what things were like back in the day when black people had few educational and job opportunities, when black people had to use separate waiting rooms at train or bus stations, separate drinking fountains and often couldn't use public restrooms. Blacks were systematically barred from owning a home or renting in predominantly white neighborhoods. A black man could be lynched for just looking directly at a white woman. We had come quite far from the old days.

Then Obama and his accomplices came along. The man hailed as the great unifier of the races has split them apart. Of course, this division is intentional. Obama and those like him feel that everything wrong in their lives is the result of those evil rich white folks and they are deliberately seeking their revenge against white people for all grievances, real or imagined.

"we had come quite far"

In some ways yes, in many ways no. The narrative of Evil Whitey Is The Source Of All Black Problems has been a constant for the last fifty years for many black self-appointed spokespeople and intellectuals. Why do you think Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are still so popular? I would bet only a tiny percent of black adults know who Tom Sowell or Dr Ben Carson are. The capacity for blaming others for their problems is deep in the black community.
