No they weren't. They were out filming the rioters, and the police were out trying to deal with the rioters. I do not remember any MSM source asking "Did Mr. Brown commit a crime prior to the incident?"
I don't remember the MSM even asking where Mike had been before the incident. I don't remember any Freepers asking either.
Nothing would quell the situation. The press may have asked for answers...and then they’d pick and choose what to report. Calm doesn’t sell newspapers. Riots and looting do. The police never disclose facts in an ongoing investigation until that info has been verified and reverified. Is this cop guilty? I don’t know. Did he shoot with or without a scuffle? Did he sustain injuries? What does the forensic evidence show? How many credible witnesses are there? There are too many missing pieces for anyone to make an informed judgment....that includes you.
