Where is the indicted for abuse of power for a certain person with Big Ears and enjoys golfing while Rome is burning? Sounds like Perry is being accused of something Big Ears has done countless times - give notice of intent to veto prior to the act of veto.

Anyone who takes this lightly is delusional. Libs dont mess around when taking down political opponents. These people basically run a criminal enterprise. Meanwhile Repubs cower.

Rosemary Lehmberg.

And she’s doing it over an issue that affected her.
It’s a huge conflict of interest.
And it stems from her drunk driving.
This is egregious.
I think she needs to go to jail.

Don't think Perry is going to take this laying down. Some or somehow someone is going to get their ars kicked and it is not going to be Perry.

He was exonerated of all charges. Only after his political career was destroyed, but then that was the point of the charges, indictment and prosecution wasn't it?

We need to move our state Capitol out of Austin.
The left consistently abuses the Travis County DA’s office to launch political prosecutions.
They did it to KBH in the 90s, then Tom Delay, now this to Perry.
I’m a defense attorney and I can’t even get my brain around this. It’s absolutely stunning.
They want to accuse him of abuse of power? Really?
Talk about your all time projection.

They just ticked a bunch of us off. I’m not a Perry fan, but I know what they’re trying to do to our state, they want a frigging war!! We’ll give it to them. (Legally and figuratively speaking, of course)

Sadly, no. I didn’t get here until 2008. :( Looks like a funny one though. :)

They indicted him because he vetoed the funds for the Travis County DA after she was arrested for DUI and public intoxication. Not sure how that is public corruption or abuse of office...

Doesn’t the House have a rule that if a member is indicted for anything they must step down? Or is that just a Republican rule?

Before they did the same crap to Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Seems they drum up a persecution (intentional spelling) against any powerful Republican they can.
To: redgolum
Yep. This is the end of Perrys presidential run.Yep, and it will make it easier for Perry to endorse Ted Cruz.
