Before the looting started I heard an initial news report saying that a person had tried to rob the convenience store, and that Brown, being nearby, and met the description of the robber. That is why he was asked to stop for a check by the cop. Somehow that first report was just not important enough to stop the looting. And that’s when the overactive press imaginations really kicked in.

Rumors are swirling that the QT that was attacked, looted and burned to the ground was no random choice for the rioters.... that particular QT had called the police there had been theft and called police and accusing Mike Brown of shoplifting tobacco… so he may have hit the QY as well...time will tell...but sure looks like from this photo someone thought the QT needed to be taken out for "snitching"...
