It was.
Burning and looting the store was payback for the store clerk snitching on Brown and calling the cops.
Notice the “no snitching “ graffiti sprayed on the burned out shell of the gas station.
A now-scrubbed website apparently had FB images of Brown and his friends - suggesting that they were gang members, as they were shown making the gang signals.
