A police officer in riot gear, assault rifle strapped across his chest, baton in hand, staring at the camera. Police dogs, crouched in frenzied anticipation. Tear gas rising into the night sky. Armored trucks backlit by street lamps.

They’re just there to oversee a peaceful protest by some hard working members of society.
If this was a real riot, the rioters would have been armed or they would need protection from those folks west of fergy.
Riot is a poor choice of words.
The event with the breakins and fires was involuntary redistribution. Involuntary redistribution is an urban crime act committed by the feral subculture that creeped in among the folks that declared over and over “this is not us”
Since both sides were black, it can not be said to be racial.

They do not protect; and they do not prevent crime.
What they do is document crimes and collect evidence.
They can’t and won’t stop you from becoming a crime victim; that is your job.

It’s because they investigated crimes, collected evidence and tracked down criminals. The common citizens were armed and took care of their own protection.
The only purpose for SWAT and heavily armed police is to apprehend dangerous criminals who have been identified and located.
If you deploy heavily armed police and SWAT for common crimes and crowd control then expect them to kill innocent citizens.
The Missouri teen would be alive today if the cop wasn’t carrying a lethal weapon.
If the copy complain about not carrying lethal weapons, then give them a can of mace and a club. These normally non-lethal weapons will reduce the deaths of dogs and citizens alike.

True. But from what I heard the cop would be dead if he wasn't carrying.

If the internal investigation exonerates the police officer, your going to have many more Fergusons as the right reverand Jackson pointed out.
If they charge the cop and he faces jail time, I think the law enforcement community will say, what is the point of it all?
I do my job, follow procedure, and end up in jail?

"Man, you hit her in the head!" one brick thrower admiringly exclaimed to his buddy. At the hospital, Schoonover recognized an acquaintance among the dozens of bloodied people waiting for care: a rioter had jumped into her acquaintance’s car and beaten her viciously with a brick.
There are many white commuters dragged out of their cars and beaten. IIRC one died.

Just another summer rioting season. The agenda usually runs like this. Minority member goes ape and attacks police, he gets shot/killed, and several “witnesses” emerge from the bushes screaming “he didn’t do nuffin” and “he was a good boy”. This is instantly believed and reinforced by the media and poverty pimps who start screaming “he was unarmed” (as though no one deserved to be shot who isn’t armed). This is seen as justification for rioting and looting which goes smoothly for several days. Then the investigation shows the perp to be a major s*umbag with a long rap sheet and the cop with serious injuries. Everyone says never mind and they all go home. Mission accomplished until next year.

I think in a riot situation I'd rather be armed with a high capacity pump-action or semi-auto shotgun than an "assault rifle".
I find the whole thing obscenely contrived.
The first night the police allowed the looting as they had over 300 cars there but huddled like scared cats in a Walmart parking lot.
There were looters running past police with loot in their hands and the police didn’t stop them.
They then arrest 32 but only charge 10 all of whom are outside of the area.
Then the next night the rabble come in from outside the area, some even bused in, and the police don’t know that??? And instead teargas the entire crowd because they won’t disperse.
You’d think that the taxpayer hadn’t spent billions of dollars over the last 20 years training the cops and their officers on how to deal with crowds of protesters???
I predict that the Chief of Police in Ferguson won’t be there in a year — if he lasts that long.

Yet those who live in Ferguson have allowed the “sub-culture” to operate in their midst. While it may not be “them” they have quietly allowed to exist, they have not openly/actively discouraged these Feral types.
They have accepted the plantation sub-culture, and it’s attendant damage to their community.
If it isn’t you Ferguson, then why don’t you drive them out. Clean up your neighborhood, drive out the baggy pants/doo-rag types.
Otherwise Ferguson, yes, it is YOU.
A story about my time in England: I was living in a bed-sit in Fulham (West London), and I was home when my landlady’s ex- arrived to pick a fight. He was slamming and kicking the front door, cursing a blue streak.
The policeman arrived in what was then called a “panda car”, alone and unarmed. He got out, mounted the steps, tapped the man on the shoulder and delivered a polite request to refrain. The ex- turned around and punched him in the face, and his bobby helmet went flying as he tumbled down the steps.
OMG thought this American. What now??
It wasn’t ten seconds before a black van came screaming around the corner. Six armed policemen, one with a rifle, piled out, seized the ex-, and started beating the living s*** out of him with nightsticks. When he was unconscious, they dragged him away and threw him in the back of the van. They shook hands with the first policeman, none the worse for wear, and they were off.
Other lands, other customs, eh?
Here's a recent one. And no rioting and looting followed. Obviously a white victim as there was barely a mention compared to a black victim. BTW, the old man simply picked up his walking cane to assist him walking -- he did not threaten the policeman. There is video proving that the old man did not try to “attack” the officer. Officer shot elderly man during traffic stop after mistaking his cane for a shotgun.
Or how about the recent case of a white kid (I believe) shot dead as he opened his door to answer a knock. He was holding something in his hand that looked like a gun and was shot by the office knocking at the door.
Apparently there are no stats kept on police shootings like these. Why is that? My guess is..
when the victim's industry is threatened by truth it makes sure the truth is concealed. For them it's a business. For black radicals it's a way to violence.
Where's the proof that blacks are overwhelmingly the victims of police shootings? I know of scores of white victims over the years. Not all of them deserved it.
