It was only a relatively few years ago when our nation suffered one of the worst terrorist attacks in our history on 9/11/2001. I recall video of much rejoicing from the Islamic nations over this attack. There was much celebration and dancing in the streets.
So, forward to what we have today and we are witness to a rolling holocaust in some of those countries where the citizens rejoiced at our suffering. The face of terror now looks at the citizens of Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, and the rest of the nations of the Mideast.
My questions are this: Are they still cheering? Are there ANY prominent Islamic religious leaders who have seen the light and are now willing to issue religious bans on all acts of terror? What say you my fellow FReepers?
Surely, some are still cheering. Those who want chaos, Islamic jihad, American humiliated, high oil prices, despotism, etc...they all have a lot to cheer.
The Kurds, but they are regarded as heretics who must be killed or re-educated. They are not interested in that so they resist. All Moslems support some variety of Holy War against infidels, that’s you and me and ours, and they are not talking about intellectual argument,- non Moslems,.

Sadly, there ARE some who are still cheering. And some of those who once cheered are now dead.
I am assuming that the Kurds were not among those cheering the attack on 9/11. In the First Gulf War, Saddam got his butt kicked but was allowed to remain in power. Nothing for the Kurds to cheer about there, and no reason for them to cheer about the 9/11 attack.

GWB listened to his Generals and approved their Strategy of “Shock and Awe.”
GWB then re-read his Harvard Political Science class notes and proclaimed “We won’t stay a minute longer than the Iraqi PEOPLE want us to stay.”
This news told the Arab Street exactly what they had to do to cause the USA to go home, willingly.
Harvard Motto: “Enter with guns blazing, then CUT your losses and RUN away if “the rescued” fight back.”
Fellow Harvard Grad BHO agreed with GWB, and Shock and Awe slowly morphed into the current CUT and RUN Military disaster of BHO’s Pentegon.
BHO went one step further by announcing a precisely timed beginning and ending of US Military fighting, US Opinion Polls permitting, of course.
“No US Boots on the Ground” was the best verbal promise that B. Hussein Obama could possibly have given to the true Barbarians on the Arab Street.
The top Iranian leader has already called for increased breeding, ( “bed dancing” for those with tender emotions), in his part of the future Caliphate Empire.
BTW, The defeat of America in Iraq was a Bi-Partism effort by the dynamic Harvard Duo residents of the White Hut.
When will the Arab Street stop celebrating that America no longer allows its Military to WIN Wars?
Certainly not as long as there is a Harvard Grad. in the White Hut.
BTW, BTW, should attendance at Harvard be a disqualification for a candidate running for any elected Federal Office?

No they haven't seen the light or they wouldn't be practicing Islam as they remain today...thus they will view all things through Islamic ideology and teachings.
If they speak at all against terrorism it's political posturing at best for the International Leaders they want to impress as being Cooperative. (for the time being).
Some cheer, some mourn. Karma is a bitch for those who cheered on 9-11 and now mourn.
If they woke up, they aren’t talking about it. It’s a death wish to even suggest anything other than the extreme line over there. You can be more “moderate” in the west, but not in Islamic countries.
Is Obama invoking the field-tested, Clinton-Obama Benghazi Rule for the US to not prevent the ongoing genocide of Christians, and Yazidis in current US Ally Iraq?
BTW, the Clinton-Obama Benghazi Rule is as follows:
“ALWAYS STAND DOWN WHEN MUSLIMS ATTACK, WAIT FOR THE MUSLIMS TO FINISH KILLING, AND THEN DO NOTHING.”
I had intended to mention something like Karma and I didn't. Many who cheered when we suffered the attack on 9/11 now face the prospect that they too could be beheaded, crucified or buried alive, and they or their relatives might be sold into sexual slavery. Which nation gives them hope to avoid such a fate? The United States of course.
The serpent they cheered for has turned and they face its venom. And they tremble.
I get the impression that Obama’s view of “flexibility” is to do whatever he can to give hope to radical Islam that they will ultimately be able accomplish their dearest goals to: 1. Destroy Israel, and: 2. Establish a Caliphate.
Maybe there will soon be a leadership opening in Indoesia’s end of the Cliphate Empire?
