I am not allowed to fly an Irish flag at least at the same height as the American flag. The Texas flag can be flown at the same Height because it’s Texas...no, because it is a republic.

True, but we are still technically at war with NoKo. But I doubt the FBI would arrest anyone if the flew the NoKo flag.
So... that would mean obama was wrong. There are only 56 states.
To the best of my knowledge ISIS has not been recognized by the US as a sovereign state, nor has the US Congress declared war on ISIS.
Granted these are a nasty bunch of guys and we should do something about them but first we should have an act of Congress authorizing military action.
Obama at the very least should be following the actions required by the War Powers Act.
