Any legit stats coming from ANY government agency? The heads likely got bonuses for 'lowering crime'.

Liars. Enablers.

Consistent with Holder provoking violence from Coast
to Coast while weaponizing al Qaeda and narcoterrorists
while the EXEMPT Congress schemes to enrich itself.

Yep, that has to figure in somehow. I’m not sure they got paid, but someone was putting the pressure on to downgrade.

I don’t trust these lowered crime stats at all.

We’re being lied to.

The fact that she hadn’t bought him a Valentine’s Day gift was a crime of omission as well.

I want a cute mute next year.

I read an awful article, it was just awful, about the Chi-town police and their “damn lies and statistics” about murders.

One poor woman’s body was found tied to a chair in an abandoned warehouse, I forget the cause of death but Chicago PD has it classified as a suicide.

It was really disgusting. They are not looking for the murderers and they are not giving the victims the dignity they deserve.

It’s like every level of government is staffed by nothing but liars these days.

We are paying these people to do certain jobs, they don’t do them and they lie about it.

Don’t try this at an actual job, folks.

The Internet was supposed to fix this. The Internet made it easier for all of us to just type in a zip code and get the crime stats there.

Of course the crime stats have to come from somewhere. And that somewhere is cities that don't want people to know exactly how bad crime is in their cities.

So now we have greater access to less accurate information.

Of course newspapers are going the way of the dinosaur, and we conservatives love this because we hate all those durned liberals that lie about Republicans and conservatives.

So now there is no one to doublecheck the stats provided by the cities.

Well then private newsletters, such as those provided to investors could fill in the gap. But of course those investor newsletters wouldn't want us to know how bad crime is in certain parts of town or it could be bad for business.

So it turns out the Internet is just another way for us to be lied to.

It was reduced crime statistics in the Miami school districts that gave us Trayvon Martin.

Of course they did. It’s the only way that LA and other cities, towns, counties, states, can show that their crime stats are down.

Police reports are nothing but standardized forms where certain information goes in certain boxes. Usually, there is one box that asks….Crime Committed. If the person was hit with a bottle..you would write…Victim Hit with Bottle/Weapon. At that time, the crime would be classified as an Aggravated Assault. Where I used to work, we had to leave that box blank. It was filled in later, by someone else.

If anyone wants to know why homicide rates are so low, go to the hospitals and talk to the ER staff. They’re the ones keeping the homicide rate down. With technology nowadays, people that were dead just a few years ago are being saved.

The PROBLEM is that many CONSERVATIVES are FOOLED into thinking that jail sentences are too long and the wind up supporting this early release garbage (they’re especially taken in my the claim that people in jail on drug charges are just ‘casual users’).

...and then they can’t understand why crime immediately SOARS.

This BS been going on for years.

I parked a car further down my drive than usual and when I came out the next day it was gone.
Guy had some gonads but he had no way of knowing my BR window was on the ground floor on the DW side (Circular Dr).
Anyhow, we found it a couple of days later behind a school and the theory was someone either needed a ride home or, since it was ‘older’, maybe stashed for later use.

When it showed up in the ‘crime’ section of the paper, it was classified as ‘Unauthorized Use’ and I kind of pointed out that Unauthorized Use would be if my keys were on the table and someone I knew took MY car to the store without informing me.

I got the ‘The lower the stolen car rate in the zip code, the lower insurance rates stayed’ talk...

It was basically a ‘pile of junk’ but something I kept around in case another vehicle ‘went down’.

Admittedly, I had left the keys ‘hidden’ in the car but it was a time when we were just getting ‘comfortable’ locking the house up every night....
