More Immigrant Students Swarm DeKalb’s School Registration Center
Atlanta Journal-Constitution ^ | August 11, 2014 | Ty Tagami

Nearly two hundred families with immigrant children had lined up outside a school registration facility in DeKalb County Monday by the time officials arrived around 7:30 a.m., a reminder of the crowd that swamped the building Friday.

“We got here and there was a long line,” said Sandra Nunez, who runs the school district’s International Welcome Center. People camped outside the building from Thursday night to Friday morning, apparently because of a rumor that if they didn’t register by then their kids wouldn’t get into school this year. Nunez said facility workers heard that falsehood repeated by numerous families. In reality, the district registers students as they arrive year round, though school started Monday in DeKalb so late registrants are missing class time.

The Congress (such as it is) is far more concerned with its income and influence from lobbyist relationships than it is the country and its people. So much so, that we hear nothing of substance from them other than RINO posturing which is total BS and worthless.

The LAST thing they are protecting is America.

And I’ll bet not a one of them has a immunization record. Our kids MUST be immunized and have proof before they are allowed in school but apparently laws don’t apply to illegal alien children.

School started already? We don’t start until the Wednesday after Labor Day.

Ah...but it’s worth it if all these illiterate offspring of illiterate illegal parents can some day vote Democrat. That’s what dreamers will learn fast, if they want government Free Stuff to keep flowing from the Makers to the Takers.

put up a tent in the school yard and put all the illegals in there. Have someone like Donna Brazille be the teacher and Harry Reid as the Ombudsman. Give daily speeches to these illegals by John the purple heart collector, kerry on learning how to speak like someone from Martha’s Vineyard. Ask Al Gore to give some free time to explain global warming to these illegals

School's been going for a week already here. After Labor Day is a Yankee invention. The last day of school here is May 20th.

I think it’s way past time for a tax revolt. Let the illegals pay the bills for a change.

IF they come through the processing centers, they'll have a start on immunizations but probably not a completion of or having the second dose.

First on the school supply list should be a case of Rid and personal sized hand sanitizers.

Speaking of, that Target commercial (and any others) about them donating school supplies to the needy is one reason I will never shop there. There are plenty of supplies to go around. I have seen teachers throw out brand new supplies by the dumpster full. Year after year - folders, crayons, notebooks, etc. Brand new. Why buy a new pair of scissors every year? I had box of crayons that I'd barely used in 4th grade that my kid used 30 years later. Clean the average 6th grader's bedroom and you'll find enough supplies to cover the entire class. Besides, what you buy for your kid will probably get dumped into the communal box for the whole class to use.

There was a local news segment last night that the average family spends $400 on back to school supplies. Oh, please! Maybe if they're buying a computer but general supplies are less than $1 each.

People camped outside the building from Thursday night to Friday morning....

(((
I’ll bet that place smelled great, and I’ll bet those who live near the building were thrilled.

Have I missed the outcry or even a little reproachment from the US muslim community? I thought not. There are NO moderate muslims.
