Can we get smart?
1) Spiritually, we need to receive Jesus Christ to get our hearts and minds right.
2) Politically, what Milton Friedman said is not a bad place to start: elect the best candidates you can, but realize that any politician is a potential turncoat and enemy. The REAL solution is for the American People to make it politically profitable for the wrong person to do the right thing.
