To: I want the USA back
The laws are confusing for a reason: to trap innocent, law-abiding non-violent people in the law and brand them unjustly as criminals.

Agree. I will say that when I got my first LTCF in PA in the early 80s, the sheriff told me "Don't go to New Jersey with your gun. We can't help you." Been repeated every time I renew and by officials in different jurisdictions. Even then there have been occasions when I have forgotten it was in my pocket and had to turn around to leave it home. Whatever you want to say about Pennsylvania being a blue state, it might as well be on a different planet than New Jersey.

If the full faith and credit clause can be used to force one state to accept the marriage of a gay couple from another state, I see no reason why it wouldn’t also cover firearm possession.

Precisely. Maybe this needs to go to the SCOTUS.

This is worth looking in to...

"... she volunteered to the officer that she had a firearm in her car."

Never talk to the police. See what it gets you?

If she'd have said "Guns? Golly, no SIR, officer sir. Guns are dangerous in the hands of anyone but the police!" she wouldn't be in this mess.

If you can get 20 years or more for doing something perfectly legal a few miles over the border (with zero ill intent shown), isn’t that the very definition of CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT?

Somebody needs to take a case like this before SCOTUS and argue it that way.

If this isn’t cruel and unusual punishment, then what is?

NEVER SET FOOT IN NEW JERSEY

If possible, stand on the PA side and piss into it.
